Hi, my name is Courtney Lacroix and I am 22 years old. I am an undergraduate at the University of Rhode Island and will be student teaching this upcoming Spring semester. I am double major in Secondary Education and Biology B.A. I have always loved Science, but decided to pursue a career in teaching with my acceptance to URI. I am very athletic, loving almost every sport except golf. I played basketball, field hockey, and softball for many years, also winning numerous awards such as first team all state for field hockey and second team all state for basketball. I have one older sister Ashley, whom I am very close to and have gained much of my confidence from to pursue my education career. I love to be outdoors, swimming, biking, or just going for a run. I am very outgoing, relaxed, and creative and with that hope to inspire my students to gain a love for science as much as I do!
